Tyreek Hill’s lawyer: model’s lawsuit against Dolphins receiver is ‘baseless’
Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports

The lawyer for Tyreek Hill disputed how a model who stayed at his client’s home last summer broke her leg. The woman filed a lawsuit last month, blaming the Dolphins receiver, saying he aggressively pushed her during a football lesson.

In a statement to ESPN, the lawyer said the model tripped over a puppy and that she filed a baseless lawsuit against Hill to “generate bad publicity for Mr. Hill in an attempt to ‘scare tactic’ him into personally covering the cost of Ms. Hall’s medical bills.”

In the meantime, Dolphins general manager Chris Grier told reporters the team was aware of the allegations made in the lawsuit.

“We were in communication with NFL security, so I really can’t comment on anything of that until we get all our information and find out what happened,” Grier said. “For us, Tyreek has been a good addition for us. But in terms of all the off-field stuff, we’ll have to get all the information before we can really comment on it.”

Sophie Hall, a model and social media influencer who has more than 2.1 million followers on Instagram, filed the lawsuit last week in Broward County, which is located in the Miami Metro area. Hall alleged that Hill pushed her backwards while the two practiced football drills in the backyard. She fractured her leg. The injury required surgery and months of rehab.

Hall has shared photos of herself on Instagram in which she’s using crutches.

Model sent her son to Tyreek Hill’s youth football camp

According to NBC 6 in South Florida, Hall and Hill met via social media after she bought a ticket for her 10-year-old son to attend the “Tyreek Hill Football Camp” at Boca Raton High School in June, 2023. According to the lawsuit, Hill then sent Hall a DM saying he wanted to “meet up and get to know her.”

The two exchanged phone numbers and the suit said Hill asked Hall to come a day early. After the camp, the suit alleges that Tyreek Hill invited Hall back to his home. The suit said he bought airline tickets and made other travel arrangements for her. She returned 11 days later.

The suit said that while she was there, Hill was outside in the backyard working with his trainer. He asked her to do some of the drills with him in a football lesson of sorts. Hall lists her height as 6-1, so she is three inches taller than Tyreek Hill. She That makes her three inches taller than Hill. The suit says she pushed Hill, as the two practiced quarterback rush drills. The lawsuit alleged that Hill then became angry, and on another play, he “charged into her violently and with great force, resulting in significant and serious injuries.”

The suit said Tyreek Hill “downplayed” her injury, although Hall could not walk. He told her to rest and ice her leg. She stayed at his home for two days while Hill arranged for travel back to her home.

Hall said she did not see a doctor until she returned home. She said it was only then that she discovered she had suffered a break that was significant enough to require surgery.

Julius B. Collins, Hill’s lawyer, said that Hall tripped over a puppy while she practiced the drills and that she omitted that detail from the lawsuit. He also said that Hill filed Hall’s medical bills as a claim with his homeowners insurance. Collins says that Hill intends to cover her medical bills.
