Prior to Tyreek Hill's incident on Wednesday, the primary news concerning the 6 x All-Pro revolved around a potential trade away from the Miami Dolphins.
The primary reason for this stemmed from a series of social media posts in which the former Super Bowl champion with the Kansas City Chiefs reacted to trade speculation in an unclear manner.
Hill first posted a smiley face in response to a post that asked if fans would be open to trading him this offseason, followed by two separate posts that both simply contained the "peace sign" emoji - implying that he was perhaps willing to "peace out" or leave the organization.
Whilst the noise around that has slowly died down, partially as a result of Hill's comments on the rumors, he is not the only high-profile player using the "peace" symbol to potentially signify an imminent trade.
TJ Watt, former Defensive Player of the Year for the Pittsburgh Steelers, posted on Instagram a picture of him doing the exact same peace sign on Wednesday.

The sign itself was not created by Hill, nor is its use strictly limited to him. However, it was once his trademark celebration prior to it being put on hold by the NFL.
And it is interesting timing that Watt, who is in the final year of his 4 year, $112 million extension signed back in 2021 - decided at this point to post a picture making that same symbol that triggered trade alarms from Hill.
Particularly in light of non-quarterbacks re-setting the market on three occasions this offseason, with Maxx Crosby, Myles Garrett and Ja'Marr Chase all breaking the record for highest paid non-QB in the space of just two weeks last month.
Watt is not necessarily directly en route to submitting a trade request as we speak, but the situation is certainly one worth monitoring.
