The UCLA Bruins do not have a high volume of commitments in the 2026 class yet, but they are putting together a nice collection of players.
Wide Receiver Jaron Pula is the lone 4-star at the moment, but Coach DeShaun Foster is going after guys who want to be Bruins and have high ceilings.
Today, they continued that trend by landing the commitment of 3-star EDGE Anthony Jones.
Jones is a local prospect, playing his high school ball at Crean Lutheran in Irvine, California.
He is the 44th-ranked EDGE in the 2026 class, according to On3 Industry Rankings, but don’t let the 3-stars or this ranking fool you. Jones was, and will continue to be, highly sought after.
He had nearly 20 offers, including Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia, Penn State, Tennessee, and others. This is a big get for Coach Foster and his staff.
The UCLA Bruins now have six total commitments in their 2026 class. That is a far cry from cross-town rival USC with their 27 commits, but the Bruins are adding good players and will certainly ramp that number up during the summer.
Their class is currently ranked 40th nationally and 12th in the Big Ten.
