Uncertainty abounds after Brady moves out of Jeter’s mansion
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady's living arrangements are currently unsettled. Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

A report surfaced this week about Tom Brady’s future living arrangements in Florida after word broke that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is moving out of a mansion owned by Derek Jeter after the MLB legend put the property on the market.

Subsequent speculation, however, now suggests things are not so clear-cut on what comes next for the Brady brood.

TMZ Sports reported this week that Brady was zeroing in on a $7.5 million waterfront estate in a private Tampa-area community. The expectation was that the Bucs signal-caller would close later this week on the property, which is located in Clearwater, Fla., and of course has all the trappings of palatial, opulent home boasting the epitome of lavish luxury.

The new home — listed by real estate agent Sophia Vasilaros — is 8,548 square feet with 5 full baths and 3 half baths (8 toilets in all!) and it’s right on the water with its own private dock.

Inside, the home has a private gym, theater room, billiard room, media center … oh, and it also has an elevator!

Things evidently have taken a turn on the homestead front for Brady, as someone affiliated with the property in question denied the six-time Super Bowl winner is nearing a purchase.

“Tom Brady is not associated with the sale of this home. I can’t disclose any more information on the buyer, but I can assure you it is not Tom Brady,” a representative from Smith & Associates Real Estate told the New York Post in a statement Thursday.

Exactly how Brady ultimately resolves his unclear future living situation obviously isn’t the biggest deal in the grand scheme of things.

That being said, the case can be made that having such an important aspect of one’s personal life so unsettled can potentially have an impact on the focus necessary to thrive on the professional front. Odds are a person of Brady’s temperament and experience will be able to navigate the situation just fine, though.
