'Unfazed' – Bo Nix praised for clutch comeback win

Bo Nix and the Broncos looked out of sorts through much of their first half against the Rams in Week 3. Denver managed only 63 yards before halftime and entered the locker room trailing Los Angeles 16-0.

Curiously, the Broncos offense drew jeers from their fans, but Bo Nix never seemed rattled. Meanwhile, NFL analyst Scott Van Pelt on Sports Center pointed to the quarterback’s demeanor as a reason he could recover as the game progressed:

“What I like is when you see him [Bo Nix] on the sidelines, like there’s a smile. He seems unfazed with the idea that the offense is struggling. That is a great trait to have as a quarterback.”

Van Pelt noted that Nix didn’t appear bothered, regardless of whether he was actually feeling the pressure. That mindset allowed the Broncos QB1 to stay composed and deliver when it mattered most.
