The Las Vegas Raiders broke a lot of hearts in their 25-24 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday, and a couple of players added injury to insult.
During the fourth quarter of the game, both cornerback Eric Stokes and offensive tackle Kolton Miller went down with injuries. Both did not return for the rest of the game against the Bears, and fans are now concerned that two sore spots on the Raiders roster are only growing worse.
After the game, updates were provided on both players to give a better look at what they will be facing.
According to ESPN’s Ryan McFadden, Miller suffered a sprained ankle, while Stokes suffered a sprained knee.

The fact that neither injury looks to be serious is a relief, especially since Miller was carted off after suffering his injury.
If either player is unable to go for the Raiders’ next game on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, the team has some contingency plans in place.
Should Miller be out, the Raiders will go with Stone Forsythe, who spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with head coach Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks. Meanwhile, Stokes being out would push third-round rookie Darien Porter into the starting lineup.
Miller and Stokes will at least only be out for the short term, which is a silver lining for the situation the Raiders currently find themselves in.
