Urban Meyer has an eye for talent, winning national championships with the Florida Gators (2006, 2008) and the Ohio State Buckeyes (2014).
Many players he has coached at the college level have succeeded in the NFL. On a recent episode of "The Triple Option," Meyer named the best NFL players he got to coach in college.
From Ohio State, there were linebacker Ryan Shazier, defensive back Marshon Lattimore, receiver Terry McLaurin, running back Ezekiel Elliott, receiver Michael Thomas, defensive ends Nick and Joey Bosa, and defensive back Joe Haden.
Meyer named his best Florida players as offensive lineman Mike Pouncey, offensive lineman Maurkice Pouncey, receiver Percy Harvin, defensive back Joe Haden and defensive lineman Carlos Dunlap.

Meyer did not name quarterback Tim Tebow, who won the Heisman in 2007 and played a significant role in Florida's 2008 national title win.
Maurkice spent his entire NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2010-2020. Mike played for the Miami Dolphins (2011-17) and Los Angeles Chargers (2018-19). The Pouncey twins went to the Pro Bowl multiple times in their careers.
Dunlap spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals (2010-2020), Seattle Seahawks (2020-21) and Kansas City Chiefs (2022). He was a two-time Pro Bowl selection (2015-16).
Shazier played four seasons in the NFL for the Steelers before a serious spinal injury forced him to end his career. He made the Pro Bowl in 2016 and 2017.
Harvin played for the Minnesota Vikings (2009-12), Seahawks (2013-14), New York Jets (2014) and Buffalo Bills (2015-16). He was a Pro Bowler and the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2009.
Lattimore was with the New Orleans Saints from 2017-2024 and currently plays for the Washington Commanders. He is a four-time Pro Bowler and was the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2017.
Lattimore's teammate, McLaurin, has spent six seasons with the Commanders and is a two-time Pro Bowler.
The Bosa brothers are both still playing. Nick is still with the San Francisco 49ers and has made the Pro Bowl five times. Joey just joined the Bills in free agency and has five Pro Bowl selections.
