The 2025 free agency madness has died down following the opening days last week, but there is still plenty of talent remaining in the second wave.
One player USA Today's Cory Woodruff sees landing with the Bengals is veteran cornerback Stephon Gilmore.
"The Bengals need some experience in the cornerback room, and Gilmore could provide plenty of it," Woodruff wrote.
The 34-year-old has played 13 NFL seasons, most recently on one-year stints with Minnesota, Dallas, and Indianapolis. He is a two-time All-Pro and won the 2019 AP Defensive Player of the Year award.
Cincinnati could be a good place for him to pursue a title and play a key role all at the same time. This past season was his lowest-graded season on Pro Football Focus since 2020 (62.2 overall grade in 2024). PFF projects him to land a one-year, $6 million contract for the 2025 campaign.
