The Las Vegas Raiders have a connection with a university that ins't even in their town, and it's a special one, too. The USC Trojans, will now always be connected with the Raiders, as they were before.
Prior to this year, the Raiders and USC hoad a connection because of their Los Angeles ties, and what both programs and teams have done for that community. A very large portion of Los Angeles are still Raiders fans. In fact, some have said there are more Raiders fans in LA than there are Los Angeles Raiders and Los Angeles Rams fans. And, I believe it.
Both the Raiders and the USC football program have always stood for and embodied the same things. And when you think about the two football programs, they are both historical, and some of the best ever, but haven't had the same type of success as of late. And, both are optimistic that will change soon.
And then there are the fact that a ton of former Raiders players played for USC, along with some current players in Isaiah Pola-Mao and Kana'i Mauga.
Fast forward to 2025, and the Raiders hired a former USC Trojans head coach who won them a National Championship in Pete Carroll. Not to mentioned, Carroll can also take partial responsibility for some of the Trojans' greatest players ever like Reggie Bush.

Despite a head coach for the Raiders, after serving as head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, Pete Carroll still teaches a class at USC. That class is called "Game Is Life."
And, imagine taking a class with Pete Carroll as your professor, where he just teaches you how to win the game of life at a young age. And, imagine you come to class one day and your lecture is from JuJu Watkins, the star college basketball player for the USC Trojans, who is in conversation with Tom Brady, the new minority owner of the Raiders, and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots quarterback.
Wholesome moments

Brady is considered the greatest quarterback of all time, and even the greatest player of all time. And Carroll has him talking to his class at USC, mind you, Brady is a Michigan guy.
Regardless, that's pretty cool, and it's something those college kids will never forget.
