Travis Kelce has gone down with an injury in what could be his final NFL season.
The Chiefs are taking on the Chargers on Sunday. Kelce, 36, has looked good early in the year. The Chiefs are off to an impressive 4-0 start to the season. The Chargers, meanwhile, are 0-4.
Kelce, still playing like a Pro Bowler, went down with an apparent leg injury during the first quarter of Sunday afternoon’s game. He has since made his way to the medical tent and he appears to be unhappy.
“Travis Kelce has sit down on the table near the blue medical tent. They haven’t put it up. He looks incredibly frustrated,” Pete Sweeney reported on X.
It looks like the three-time Super Bowl-winning tight end, who has stayed relatively healthy throughout his career, suffered a likely high-ankle sprain or ankle injury.

According to reports from Kansas City, it looks like Kelce rolled his ankle and potentially suffered some kind of sprain.
“By video, mild right high eversion ankle sprain,” former NFL team doctor David J. Chao reported on X.
“Possible to tape and return.”
Kelce, who has openly admitted that this could be his final season, has been seen getting medical attention on the bench on Sunday.

The Chiefs obviously can’t afford to lose Kelce right now, even at 4-0 on the year, as they’re dealing with a lot of injuries in the passing department.
