Jameis Winston made his first start as quarterback of the New York Giants in Week 11 against the Green Bay Packers.
While the team couldn’t secure a win, dropping to a 2-9 record on the season and still trailing everybody in the NFC East, the footage released by the Giants gave fans something to smile about.
The Giants posted a mic’d-up video of the quarterback on X that truly offered fans the full Winston experience.
From his sideline energy to his unique phrasing and wording, to very chaotic in-game commentary and exchanges with teammates, and everything in between, the clip quickly gained traction online for capturing all Winston is known for.

Winston could be heard yelling “TRENCHES!” mid-huddle, riffing about meeting a teammate's mom from the sidelines to the disbelief of the lineman, and launching into a pile of defensive linemen as well on sideline pep talks with insurmountable enthusiasm.
At the end of the day, that was just Winston being himself.
The game itself was a rollercoaster and didn't end well for New York, as has been the case for the most part this season.
Winston completed 19 of 29 passes for 201 yards with one interception and a lost fumble.
The veteran passer added a one-yard rushing touchdown, leading a fourth-quarter drive that briefly gave the Giants a 20-19 lead before the defense surrendered the lead for good.
While Jaxson Dart is trending toward returning as QB1, Winston’s performance showed why the Giants brought the veteran in, as he kept the game tight given his team's capabilities while also providing his teammates with much-needed energy.
The Giants will follow their 27–20 loss to the Packers with a trip to Detroit, where they'll face the Lions next Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.
