Video shows awesome question ex-teammate asked Joe Flacco
Joe Flacco Scott Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

Joe Flacco’s improbable career revival continued on Thursday night when he led the Cleveland Browns to a win over the New York Jets, and one opposing player seemed genuinely happy for the veteran quarterback.

Jets linebacker CJ Mosley congratulated Flacco on the field after the Browns beat New York 37-20. Mosley, who was teammates with Flacco on the Baltimore Ravens from 2014-2018, asked the 38-year-old quarterback an awesome question. Note that the video contains censored profanity.

“Who would have thought the f—ing Browns (fans) would be screaming your name? That s–t’s crazy,” Mosley said.

Flacco finished 19/29 for 309 yards, 3 touchdowns and an interception against the Jets. All three scores came in the first half. The Browns clinched a playoff berth with the victory.

Thursday’s game was Flacco’s fourth in a row with more than 300 passing yards, which is the longest streak in Browns history. Flacco is also the first player in NFL history to have 250-plus yards and 2-plus touchdown passes in his first five games with a team.

Browns fans are right to feel confident in Flacco heading into the playoffs. Jets fans also have every reason to be furious with their team after what we have seen the past month.
