Vikings' 2024 home and road opponents are officially set
Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

The Vikings' home and road opponents for the 2024 season are officially set. The schedule with dates and times will come out in May, as always.

Here's who the Vikings will play next season, along with the 2023 record of each team:

Home games (9)

  • Detroit Lions (12-5)*
  • Green Bay Packers (9-8)*
  • Chicago Bears (7-10)
  • San Francisco 49ers (12-5)*
  • Arizona Cardinals (4-13)
  • Houston Texans (10-7)*
  • Indianapolis Colts (9-8)
  • Atlanta Falcons (7-10)
  • New York Jets (7-10)

Road games (8)

  • Detroit Lions (12-5)*
  • Green Bay Packers (9-8)*
  • Chicago Bears (7-10)
  • Los Angeles Rams (10-7)*
  • Seattle Seahawks (9-8)
  • Jacksonville Jaguars (9-8)
  • Tennessee Titans (6-11)
  • New York Giants (6-11)

Ten of the 17 teams have winning records, but that does include five games against teams who went 9-8. All in all, it looks like a fairly manageable schedule on paper, but a lot can change from one season to the next.

The opponents who have been set for a while are the eight NFC West and AFC South teams, plus six games against teams in the Vikings' own division.

The Vikings finished third in the NFC North due to a common games tiebreaker with the Bears, meaning they'll play three other third-place teams. Had the Bears beaten the Packers on Sunday, the Vikings would've finished last and gotten to face the Panthers (2-15), Patriots (4-13), and Commanders (4-13) instead of the Falcons, Jets, and Giants.
