Vikings’ Justin Jefferson Shares Shocking Top QBs List
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Minnesota Vikings have one of the most prolific passing offenses in the NFL with quarterback Kirk Cousins targeting star wide receiver Justin Jefferson. Jefferson, a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, has taken the league by storm, already putting himself in the conversation as the best wide receiver in the NFL.

Given his production in the first three seasons of his career, it is hard to argue against that. He is tied for the most receptions in the first two seasons of a career with Michael Thomas and Amon-Ra St. Brown as all three players had 196.

He owns multiple records, as he upped the ante in Year 3, catching 128 passes for an NFL-high 1,809 yards. He caught eight touchdowns as well, giving him a three-year total of 324 receptions, 4,825 yards and 25 touchdowns.

The scariest part about that is the Vikings star isn’t close to his prime years. He turned only 24 in June, so if he keeps up this level of production, the record books could be rewritten a lot with his name.

While Jefferson is supremely talented, he wouldn’t be able to do all of this without Cousins getting him the ball in spots to succeed. The two work well together, but Jefferson inadvertently bashed his starting quarterback during a recent interview.

Recently, Jefferson revealed who he believed were the top five quarterbacks in the NFL. Shockingly, he didn’t have his Vikings teammate on the list. Cousins didn’t make the cut, as Jefferson named Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts and Josh Allen in his top-five.

That is certainly something Jefferson is going to be asked about when the Vikings start training camp at the end of the month. While he is entitled to his opinion, not including his own teammate is certainly a shocking ordeal.
