The NFL announced it will move the Minnesota Vikings' and Green Bay Packers' NFC North matchup to mid-afternoon in Week 17.

The Sunday afternoon game will kick off at 3:25 p.m. instead of its initial noon CT start.

The league said the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys game will be moved from 3:25 p.m. to noon instead.

The Vikings (13-2) are currently tied with the Detroit Lions (13-2) for first in the NFC North while the Packers (11-4) are close behind. All three teams have already clinched playoff berths.

The Lions would clinch the NFC North and NFC's No. 1 seed and first round bye if they defeat the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17 and the Vikings lose to the Packers.

Minnesota has already played Green Bay once this season, coming out on top on Sept. 29 at Lambeau Field 31-29.

After the two NFC North rivals face one another, they'll wrap up their regular seasons against the other two NFC North opponents. Green Bay will host the Chicago Bears while Minnesota travels to Detroit in what could be a game that decides the division and top seed in the NFC.
