The Minnesota Vikings have one of the better rosters in the National Football League and they are getting the recognition they deserve. Running back Aaron Jones has been named the 98th-best player entering the 2025 season by his peers.

Jones is one of the better running backs in the NFL, and he showed why this past season for the Vikings. Playing all 17 games for just the third time, Jones surpassed 1,000 yards on the ground with a career high 1,138 yards while also adding 408 through the air, and a combined seven touchdowns.

What makes Jones special isn't just what he can do on the ground, but also through the air.

"The play versus the Jets. He did a wheel route that he lost somebody like over the helmet right there," said teammate Byron Murphy Jr. "just so I was like, 'Okay, you got hands.' He probably got one of the best hands in the room, for sure, after that catch."

Jones' teammates with the Vikings had a lot of good to say about him, including super star wide receiver Justin Jefferson.

"He's a very talented player, seeing him on the opposite side of the ball in Green Bay, and seeing how athletic he is, and seeing how difficult he is to go down," said Jefferson. "It definitely feels a lot better seeing him in purple and gold than the green and gold."

The most important part of the entire discussion about Jones comes from the man himself when he's asked about who the best overall player is in the NFL.

"Um, myself."

It's going to be great this season having Jones back with the Vikings this year, especially since they made the trade for Jordan Mason in the offseason. That element is huge for the Vikings, as they try to keep Jones healthy for another 17 games.
