Viral Photo Shows Interesting Bengals' Locker Room Signage

It is not uncommon for a sports team to have a quote or saying on the wall of their facilities to motivate their players. But what is on the wall of the Cincinnati Bengals' weight room has fans chuckling a bit.

A viral photo has been circulating the sports world, and it shows the inside of one of the Bengals facilities. And on the wall, there is a very interesting acronym.

"A Bengal is P.H.A.T.," the wall reads. "Physical. Hungry. Accountable. Teammate. Who will give their all to get the job done."

It is unknown at this time who came up with this acronym, but it seems clear that they did not quite grasp the concept of what a weight room is for. Because P.H.A.T. seems like the last thing you would want to be if you are working out.

The Bengals are coming off of a season where they missed the playoffs and finished third in the AFC North with a 9-8 record. The only team they finished ahead of was the 3-14 Cleveland Browns, so it is obvious that the team is hoping they can turn it around in 2025.

Cincinnati has only made the playoffs two of the last nine seasons. They were able to make it to the Super Bowl one of those years, but they were taken down by the Los Angeles Rams. This year could be a bounce back year, but everybody on the team will have to be P.H.A.T.
