Viral video shows lighthearted side of Vikings QB Kirk Cousins

Following the Minnesota Vikings' 28-25 win over the New Orleans Saints Sunday in London, quarterback Kirk Cousins was in especially good spirits.

So, when Cousins decided to let loose on the team’s near-10-hour flight back to Minnesota, rookie linebacker Brian Asamoah made sure to capture the moment on his personal TikTok account.

“I borrowed his chain on the flight, I don’t know if you guys saw that,” Cousins told reporters on Wednesday. “That was [Christian Darrisaw’s] chain; he was a seat behind me. Kris Boyd put that on me."

"That’s Kirk, that’s what you get behind the scenes and y’all don’t see him behind the scenes a lot,” running back Dalvin Cook added. “Y’all just get the internet version.”

Cousins admitted that the chain, which is diamond encrusted with Darrisaw’s initials and spins, was the first one he’d ever worn. The 34-year-old QB confessed that owning a similar chain himself is tempting and finding one could turn into an offseason project.
