Von Miller signs megadeal with Bills

Von Miller appears to have pulled a Shyamalan twist on all of us.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported on Wednesday that the eight-time Pro Bowler has decided to sign with the Buffalo Bills. He will be getting a six-year, $120 million contract from Buffalo.

Rapoport adds that the Bills quietly worked on signing Miller all day. While the Los Angeles Rams and head coach Sean McVay are said to have pulled at Miller’s heartstrings to try to get him to stay, he ultimately decided to go to Buffalo instead.

Miller was rumored to be considering a Rams return as well as a reunion with the Denver Broncos. A surprise NFC team even reportedly emerged for him earlier this week. Buffalo was seemingly nowhere on the media radar, but that is where Miller has ended up.

The Bills, who went 11-6 last season and won their division, should give Miller a chance to compete for his third career Super Bowl ring. They are also giving him $20 million on average per year through his late 30s (Miller will be 33 later this month), so their offer may have been too good to refuse.
