Von Miller rocks Josh Allen MVP shirt ahead of 'Monday Night Football'

Buffalo Bills pass-rusher Von Miller made his thoughts on his quarterback, Josh Allen, clear recently on his podcast, "The Von Cast".

“We all know that Josh Allen is gonna be really, really good. He’s gonna be excellent," Miller said [h/t The Comeback]. "He does everything right. He doesn’t take anything serious. He has his little Will Ferrell voice that he talks with. Man, it is funny, man. He has the talent to back up everything. He has a great foundation of players around him, with [Stefon] Diggs, or Gabe [Davis], or [Devin] Singletary. This offensive line is a very, very good offensive line. We’ve got a great team over there. And I feel like Josh Allen is gonna be good. He’s gonna be good. He’s gonna be the MVP.”

Talk about calling your shot. It's one thing when a player calls his or her own shot. Self-confidence is a pre-request site to being an elite athlete, and Miller — one of the best pass-rushers of all time — clearly can back his talk up.

It's a whole other thing when you're so confident in a teammate that you're willing to call their shots for them.

It wasn't just a one-time thing from Miller, either. He's on the campaign trail for Allen, and his latest endorsement came in the form of a Josh Allen MVP shirt before Monday Night Football's clash between the Bills and Tennessee Titans.

Allen, one of the best young players in the NFL, threw for 4,407 yards and 36 touchdowns (15 interceptions) last season while also rushing 763 yards and six touchdowns on the ground.

We'll see if he can put up similar, MVP-esque, numbers for the rest of this season.
