The Washington Commanders need to address their EDGE depth, with multiple players testing free agency and a few starters recovering from injury. Von Miller, Jacob Martin, Preston Smith, and Jalyn Holmes are testing the open market. Meanwhile, Deatrich Wise Jr. is recovering from a torn quad sustained in Week 2, and Dorance Armstrong is recovering from a torn ACL suffered in Week 7, putting him at risk of missing the start of 2026.
According to Adam Schefter, the Commanders are set to sign Odafe Oweh to a four-year, $100 million contract with $68 million guaranteed. His $25 million annual salary makes him the twelfth-highest-paid EDGE rusher in the NFL. Oweh aims to pick up where he left off in Los Angeles.
