Watch: 49ers QBs Trey Lance, Sam Darnold throwing at TEU
Darren Yamashita-USA TODAY Sports

Tight End University has kicked off at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. The annual event brings together NFL tight ends to learn from each other and improve their skills. It was founded by San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, and NFL tight end turned sportscaster Greg Olsen.

Two 49ers quarterbacks, Trey Lance and Sam Darnold, are in Nashville for the event, throwing to the tight ends during their on-field work. Two former 49ers quarterbacks, C.J. Beathard and Nick Mullens, were also expected to participate.

"We have multiple quarterbacks coming from Josh Allen to Trey Lance, C.J. Beathard, Nick Mullens, Sam Darnold," Kittle shared earlier this month. "We have a plethora of guys."

Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area is on hand for the event and shared the following video of Lance and Darnold throwing.

Below is a video of Kittle sharing why he, Kelce, and Olsen felt it was important to start Tight End University.
