Watch: 5-foot-9 Ashton Jeanty can dunk a basketball

Ashton Jeanty is known for running through defenders and being almost impossible to tackle, but most people probably do not realize what the former Boise State star has in the hops department.

Jeanty, who is widely considered to be the best running back in the 2025 NFL Draft, was listed at 5-foot-9 on the official Boise State roster last season, and that was probably rounding up. You would never know it if you saw him on the basketball court, however.

Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports shared a pair of clips on social media Thursday that showed Jeanty dunking a basketball. He did so with relative ease, too.

Those are some serious hops for a 215-pound guy who is best known for bowling over defenders.

Jeanty posted otherworldly numbers for the Broncos last season with 2,601 rushing yards and 30 total touchdowns. He is already viewed as a consensus top draft pick, so the videos of him on the basketball court probably will not impact his stock that much. Though, they may make defenders think twice about trying to dive at Jeanty's legs in the open field.
