Watch: A Minnesota G.O.A.T. rides a horse in ring of honor ceremony

Jared Allen was honored during Minnesota's game Sunday against Arizona as the team added the star defensive end to its Ring of Honor. He arrived on the field in incredible fashion.

Allen -- an all-time Vikings great -- rode a horse onto the field during the halftime ceremony.

In a pre-recorded video Allen said, "this is the part where I was gonna ride off into the sunset, but seeing that there's no sunset, I'm just going to ride off." The video then showed Allen riding a horse as the screen faded to black. That was when he made his grand entrance.

Allen was drafted 126th overall in the 2004 NFL Draft. He played for Kansas City during his first four seasons before being traded to Minnesota after the 2007 season. During six seasons with the franchise, Allen recorded 85.5 sacks, the third most in franchise history, per Stat Muse.

He made a lot of great memories with the franchise, but he may have saved his most memorable for last.
