Watch: Aaron Rodgers becomes fifth QB to throw 500 career touchdowns

The Aaron Rodgers era for the New York Jets has not gone the way anybody expected it to go. He did, however, set a huge career milestone on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

Rodgers became just the fifth quarterback in NFL history to throw 500 touchdown passes when he completed a five-yard pass to Tyler Conklin to give the Jets a 7-6 lead.

Here is a look at his milestone pass.

Rodgers joins Tom Brady (649), Drew Brees (571), Peyton Manning (539) and his former teammate Brett Favre (508).

It took him 248 games to reach the milestone, which was faster than every other quarterback on the list except Manning (244 games)

Entering play on Sunday, the Jets were 4-12 with Rodgers as their quarterback, winning fewer games than they did in the previous two seasons (when they won seven games each year) with Zach Wilson as their quarterback.

Rodgers' future with the team beyond this season remains unknown as a new general manager and head coach will be taking over this offseason.
