With the Broncos trailing the Lions 28-7 on Saturday night, Denver failed to score a touchdown on the goal line.
There were two plays in a row where the Broncos were stopped just inches from the end zone, and both of those plays could have been easily challenged. However, Denver didn't challenge either, and after receiving an offsides call on fourth and goal, they settled for a field goal.

After this sequence of events, Broncos head coach Sean Payton was visibly upset with quarterback Russell Wilson. Payton yelled at him for an extended period and Wilson didn't say a word back; It was a one-sided conversation.

CBS analyst Trent Green, who's covering the Broncos-Lions game, surmised that the potential reason Payton yelled at Wilson was that the veteran QB snapped the ball too quickly two plays in a row where Denver could have thrown challenge flags.
Whatever the reason may be that Payton decided to publicly scold his QB1, it's a bad look for him and the Broncos as a whole.
