Denver quarterback Jarrett Stidham is having a decent showing against the Las Vegas Raiders in a game that could determine if he will be the Broncos starter in 2024.
On a second-and-22 at the Las Vegas 24-yard line, Stidham completed a pass to wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, who took advantage of sloppy tackling from the Raiders and scored a touchdown, tying the game at 7-7. Through two quarters, the 27-year-old has completed 7-of-12 passes for 92 yards and an above-average 110.4 passer rating.

The Broncos recently benched Russell Wilson – who has a five-year $242.5M deal with $161M guaranteed. Per Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the organization is expected to cut the former Super Bowl champion in March.
Don't be surprised if Denver (8-8) keeps Stidham as a stop-gap and takes a QB in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Per Tankathon, the Broncos have the 14th overall pick. Josh Edwards of CBS Sports predicted in a mock draft posted Sunday that the Broncos will select Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. – a 2023 Heisman Trophy finalist.
