Watch: Bucs get offense going early with 44-yard touchdown

The Eagles' rough end to the regular season carried over to the playoffs.

Tampa Bay (9-8) jumped out to a 10-0 lead in a dominant first quarter of its Super Wild Card Weekend showdown with Philadelphia (11-6). The Bucs outgained the Eagles, 178-26, and had a 10-1 advantage in first downs.

Their biggest play came on wide receiver David Moore's 44-yard touchdown moments after Mike Evans dropped a potential touchdown.

Cornerback Eli Ricks collided with teammate Avonte Maddox, allowing Moore to break open. From there, Moore made an outstanding move on a cut inside to get past Darius Slay before he slid past Keelee Ringo and Maddox to get into the end zone.

The Eagles have been a mess since Week 13, going 1-5 and allowing an average of 30.3 points per game. For the season, Philadelphia ranked 26th in total defense (356.1 yards per game) and 30th in scoring defense (25.2 points per game).

Moore entered the wild-card round with five receptions, 94 yards and a touchdown in seven games in 2023. He was a seventh-round pick of the 2017 NFL Draft for the Seahawks and only had three career postseason touches before his touchdown.

With standout wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, Moore wasn't expected to be much of a threat on Monday night. However, based on how the Eagles have played for the past month and a half, anyone can make a highlight.
