Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray still has a cannon.
On Arizona's opening drive in Sunday's home game against the Seattle Seahawks, Murray faked a handoff to rookie running back Trey Benson, quickly set his feet and threw a 42-yard touchdown to wide receiver Michael Wilson.

An ACL tear caused Murray to miss 15 games in 2022 and 2023. He has rebounded from the injury this season.
Through his first 12 starts, he went 6-6, completing 68.7% of his passes for 2,603 yards, 13 TDs and six picks. He also rushed for four TDs and 428 yards on 55 carries.
However, he hasn't pushed the ball downfield much. Per Pro Football Reference, Murray averaged 7.3 intended air yards per attempt, tied for the second-lowest mark of his career.
Air yards are the total distance the ball travels in the air past the line of scrimmage, and 7.6 intended yards is the league average.
If Murray starts hitting on more deep balls, he could spark Arizona's passing attack for the rest of the season, which would bode well for the Cardinals.
They're in a tight NFC West race and trying to make the playoffs for the first time since 2021.
