In a 24-6 victory over the Lions on Sunday, Dallas outside linebacker Micah Parsons made a touchdown-saving play that "nobody's talking about," according to Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. Parsons chased down Lions tight end Brock Wright, knocking him out at the Cowboys' one-yard line.

If Detroit had scored, it would have taken a 13-10 lead early in the fourth quarter, changing momentum. Parsons' crucial tackle was followed by a fumble recovery by the Cowboys on the next play. Afterward, the Cowboys' defense forced two more turnovers and the offense capitalized, scoring two touchdowns.
Parsons, who won NFL Defensive Rookie of the year in 2021, demonstrated another special quality that every team wants.
"Your team always has a chance to do something special when your best player gives championship effort," tweeted ESPN's Robert Griffin III.
The strong effort was inspired by a discussion Quinn and Parsons had during the week.
"We just sat down and had that father-son talk," Parsons said in a post-game news conference. "He was talking to me about plays I could make just using my speed, knowing it's my superpower."
In a Twitter post, Parsons wondered if Madden NFL 23 will give him a speed upgrade.
I wonder if @EAMaddenNFL will give me a speed upgrade?!! I heard that was almost 21 mph !! https://t.co/F4gS34tpF0
