It's not a conference or divisional rivalry, but the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers took the field on Monday Night Football with the same amount of fire that you'd expect from a matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears.

In the context of the game, it makes sense too. The Chargers are looking to keep their hot streak going after starting the season 0-2. Close wins over the Minnesota Vikings and Las Vegas Raiders had them at 2-2 coming into Monday Night Football with the opportunity to snag a three-game win streak on the line. A win would officially make the Chargers one of the hottest teams in the NFL.
On the other side of the field are the Dallas Cowboys, who always carry the weight of the world on their shoulders (or at least, the weight of Jerry Jones' expectations. The Cowboys are 3-2 and coming off a whooping at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers. Not only was it a smackdown, but the loss was on Sunday Night Football, meaning the whole country was watching Dak Prescott throw three interceptions and only one touchdown.
Either way, there was certainly a ton of the line heading into the game, and both teams have responded accordingly so far.
