Watch: Dallas Cowboys’ Dak Prescott throws yet another ugly pick-six

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been a turnover waiting to happen over the course of his past six starts. It’s now at the point that Dallas has to worry about its QB1 making that game-changing mistake once the playoffs start.

We found this out first-hand during Sunday’s regular-season finale against the division-rival Washington Commanders.

With Dallas down 7-0 in the first half following multiple miscues on special teams, Prescott gifted Washington another seven points and a two-touchdown lead.

The interception went into the hands of Kendall Fuller, who returned it to the house 29 yards for a pick-six. As you will see below, it was nothing short of a rookie mistake from the Pro Bowl signal caller.

It’s hard to stress just how bad of a pass this was from Dak Prescott. The pass was thrown after one read, late and to the outside. The struggling signal caller failed to even recognize Fuller in coverage.

A quarterback in his seventh NFL season just can’t make mistakes like that. Unfortunately for Dallas, this has been the name of the game for Prescott in the month and a half heading into Week 18.

Dallas is in need of a win and an Eagles loss Sunday afternoon to earn the NFC East title. With Philadelphia out to a lead against the New York Giants and Dallas down in this manner, it doesn’t seem likely. And in reality, Prescott’s recent performance is one of the primary reasons why.
