How did the Detroit Lions go winless for so long?

Dan Campbell‘s bunch continues to be a confusing one after a dominating 30-12 win Sunday over the Arizona Cardinals.

His team looked like the Super Bowl contender as Jared Goff threw three touchdowns and did not turn the ball over.

Kyler Murray only had one touchdown and also threw an interception as the Cardinals either failed to prepare or took the Lions way too lightly.

The win only improved the Lions to 2-10-1, but it was a statement win that proves the Lions are not just limping toward the end of the season.

Detroit led throughout the entire game and Campbell wrapped things up with a passionate postgame speech.

It was easy to poke fun at Campbell earlier in the year when his motivational tactics didn’t result in winning.

But it is now easy to see why the Lions are still playing so hard and taking down top NFL contenders.

A Perfect Fit

Campbell is the coach this franchise needs.

Matt Patricia was brought in a few years ago and clearly never meshed with the players in the locker room.

He tried to be Bill Belichick, but without any of the past success as a head coach.

Campbell has come in with a positive attitude and it truly feels like his players want to win for him.

Look at how miserable Urban Meyer was before he was fired in Jacksonville.

That attitude rubs off on the team and everyone else within the organization and leads to a long season.

Having Campbell go around like a motivational speaker and hype up everyone on the roster following a win goes a long way and means he is not going to be a one-and-done coach in Detroit.
