Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has long been among the fastest players in the NFL. Coming off core muscle surgery, he may be even faster.

DeSean Jackson is all speed, hitting 23 MPH in training

John Clark of NBC Sports Philly shared video of Jackson working out on a track, which was initially posted by his speed coach. The buzz is that Jackson is reaching 23 miles per hour, at just 80 percent in training.

As noted by Clark, the fastest run registered last season by an NFL player was 22.30 miles per hour, posted by Matt Breida.

Jackson, of course, has a history of big plays that feature his game-breaking speed. But if he’s out there running faster than ever at the age of 33, the veteran receiver may be due for more than ever before in 2020.
