Watch: Duvernay Shows Off In Punt Return
USA TODAY Sports

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay made a big impact in the first half against the Tennessee Titans with a 70-yard punt return to set up the offense.

Tennessee Titans punter Ryan Stonehouse got off a booming punt that had Duvernay backed up to almost the 10-yard line, but the shifty punt returner was able to avoid the first tackle attempt and get a full head of steam as he turned upfield.

Duvernay had the entire Titans kick coverage team beat, with only Stonehouse standing between him and the end zone. Stonehouse had the angle on Duvernay though, and was able to match his speed enough to force him out of bounds at the Tennessee 17-yard line.

Baltimore wasn't able to do much with the field position that Duvernay gave it, running six plays for 12 yards and settling for a 23-yard field goal from Justin Tucker on 4th-and-Goal from the 5-yard line.

The 26-year-old receiver had another punt return of just seven yards and two kick returns of 27 yards and 14 yards. He has not seen a target on offense through the first half of the game, with the Ravens leading 18-3 at halftime

Duvernay has two career kickoff returns for touchdowns and no punt returns for touchdowns. He had the best statistical year of his career last season, hauling in 37 receptions for 407 yards and three touchdowns and adding a rushing touchdown as well. This season, he has been quiet as a receiver, catching two passes on seven targets for eight yards.
