Watch: Eagles' Haason Reddick is a conspiracy theorist

Eagles Pro Bowl linebacker Haason Reddick has one assisted tackle in three games. His 2023 season may be off to a slow start, but his conspiracy game is in mid-season form.

Philadelphia’s defense dominated on “Monday Night Football” in a game the Eagles won 25-11 against Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers got nothing going on the ground, and managed just 133 yards through the air. The Eagles offense did much better but had aerial problems of their own throughout the game.

Apparently, when Philadelphia had the ball, the skies above Raymond James Stadium would open up and rain down on the team’s offense. Reddick had an explanation (or two) for the unexplained precipitation.

First he accused Tampa Bay of having a rain machine. After all, pirates can be quite nefarious, if any team were to resort to changing the weather, the Buccaneers (and maybe the Patriots) would be the ones to do it.

After that Reddick tried to place the blame on aliens. He doesn’t explain why extraterrestrials would have any interest in football, but he believes they do and are fans of Tampa Bay for some reason.

Obviously, the New Jersey native hasn’t spent much time in Florida where weather can change in an instant. Maybe his time would be better spent explaining why he's gotten off to such a slow start.
