The Dallas Cowboys struggled big time in the first half against the Atlanta Falcons Sunday. That included three turnovers en route to heading into the half down by the score of 29-10.

This is not great news for Dallas following its season-opening loss to the Los Angeles Rams. However, one star player was out there playing pretty good ball in front of a limited crowd in Dallas.

Check out this violent touchdown run from Ezekiel Elliott, who absolutely laid the boom on Falcons defensive back Damontae Kazee.

Talk about a violent run. Zeke legit sent Kazee to another dimension on that run.

The hope here is that the rest of his Cowboys can up their game in the second half. If not, Mike McCarthy will start 0-2 as the Dallas head coach after he struggled big time with decision making in his debut last Sunday night.

At the very least, Elliott seems to have his game face on. That’s good news.
