Former Wisconsin Badgers star basketball player Ben Brust agitated Green Bay Packers fans during the team’s practice Wednesday.

Brust was a star player on the 2013-14 Badgers men’s basketball team that made the Final Four. Now he works for ESPN Madison and ESPN Milwaukee. Brust was seen getting into shenanigans, likely for the benefit of his employer, in the greater Wisconsin area Wednesday.

Former Wisconsin star trolls Packers fans

Per clips from ESPN Milwaukee, Brust attended the Packers’ joint practice with the New England Patriots sporting a top that would have irritated fans from either team in attendance — a green Aaron Rodgers New York Jets jersey.

Brust raised his arms while walking to take his seat. Packers and probably Patriots fans sitting in the bleachers pestered him with boos.

Head coach Matt LaFleur signs Rodgers Jets jersey

Brust would not be deterred from feeling at home in Rodgers’ work uniform. Head coach Matt LaFleur signed the jersey after practice.

That was a classy move from the Packers head coach. He signed stuff for a Patriots fan before signing Brust’s jersey. It’s a good thing LaFleur didn’t hear Brust’s criticism of his two-minute drill during practice.

Brust harped on LaFleur's play-calling that set up a field goal, which rookie Anders Carlson ultimately missed.
