Watch: Giants’ Dexter Lawrence surprises young fan with Super Bowl LIV tickets
Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

New York Giants defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence dreamed of playing in the NFL growing up. Now that he’s in the NFL, Lawrence is making dreams come true for others with tickets to Super Bowl LIV.

Joshua Rhodes, a die-hard Giants fan and cancer survivor, thought he was just being interviewed to tell his story. Suddenly, Lawrence surprised him with two tickets to the Super Bowl.

The shock and joy on Rhodes’ face when he met Lawrence was awesome. Seeing his reaction to receiving two tickets to Super Bowl LIV was even more incredible. Knowing that he wants to serve in the Coast Guard and help others makes it even better, knowing the tickets are going to someone incredibly deserving.

It’s great to see moments like this as NFL players look to give back. Tampa Bay Buccaneers edge rusher Shaquil Barrett also made a young fan’s dream come true with tickets, so hopefully this is a tradition that continues.
