Watch: Jaguars RB Travis Etienne notches second TD vs. Saints, setting incredible franchise mark

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. scored two first-half touchdowns on "Thursday Night Football" against the New Orleans Saints, helping him set an impressive franchise mark.

After opening the scoring in the first quarter on a two-yard run up the middle, Etienne notched his second TD of the night early in the second quarter, motoring past the Saints defense before tip-toeing along the sidelines and into the end zone.

Etienne is the first running back in Jaguars history to rush for multiple touchdowns in three straight games. Maurice Jones-Drew (2008, 2009) rushed for two or more scores in back-to-back games twice, and Fred Taylor (2000) did it once, per Stathead. He's also the first back to accomplish the feat in the NFL this season.

The 24-year-old began his streak in Week 5, recording two scores with 136 rushing yards against the Buffalo Bills before another two-touchdown performance (55 rushing yards) in Week 6 versus the Indianapolis Colts.
