The play that has become known as the "tush push" has been widely successful for Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles this season.
It's not rocket science, either. When the Eagles need a short yardage pickup, they simply trust their beefy Jason Kelce-led offensive line and 223-pound quarterback who squats over 600 pounds to get the job done.
The "tush push" short yardage run is an especially lethal option for the Eagles down near the goal line, as was evidenced once again on "Monday Night Football" when Hurts was pushed in for his second rushing touchdown of the night.
Hurts now has 14 rushing touchdowns on the season, with his two against the Seattle Seahawks tying him with Cam Newton (Carolina Panthers) for most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a single season.

With just over a quarter left on 'MNF' plus games against the New York Giants (twice) and Arizona Cardinals still left on Philly's schedule, it seems likely that Hurts will end up breaking Newton's record.
He rushed for 13 touchdowns last season, so he's already well ahead of schedule.
