Watch: Jones makes helicopter landing at Cowboys practice

Jerry Jones arrived at Dallas Cowboys practice on Wednesday like he owns the place. (He does).

The Cowboys owner arrived at his team’s practice in a helicopter that landed on the turf practice field. The chopper had the Dallas Cowboys star logo on the rear, and quarterback Dak Prescott could be seen pretending like he was going to throw a pass to Jones.

Jones stepped out of the helicopter upon landing and visited with some of his players, like Prescott.

That was the first time many people had seen Jones make the grand entrance to his team’s practice. The 81-year-old is known for his love of attention and ability to drum up publicity, and he didn’t fail in that regard on Wednesday.

His football team isn’t where he wants them right now though. Dallas is 2-2 and visits the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. The Cowboys also are dealing with injuries to defensive standouts Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence.
