Matt Krohn-USA TODAY Sports

Detroit STAND UP! After 30-odd years of nothing but disappointing seasons, the Detroit Lions have finally become the Kings of the NFC North. The team’s 30-24 victory over the Minnesota Vikings made them the undisputed champions of their division. The team had not won a divisional title since 1993, but this year has been the most successful one they have had in a long time.

The team’s locker room erupted in celebrations after their victory. Head Coach Dan Campbell was hyped and kept that same energy level that he does week in and week out. Players from Aidan Hutchinson to Jared Goff, and Amon-Ra St. Brown busted out their best moves and celebrated their hearts out.

Amon-Ra St. Brown went live on his Instagram to show his teammates celebrating in the locker room. Campbell addressed the locker room and made an emotional yet motivating speech that sent the decibels soaring in the team’s locker room, tonight, the athletes roared as loud as lions!

Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions deserve to celebrate after their successful season

Addressing his players, Dan Campbell said,

This is special! It's something you don't get to do all the time. They're always special to win a division. I don't care how many of them you get cause of the work that goes into it. But to do something that hasn't been done in 30 years for a team is special.

The Lions were motivated all night and did not take their foot off the gas since the first snap of the game. The team has a hungry group of talented individuals led by a leader whom they are willing to leave everything on the line for.

Jared Goff, the quarterback of the team, knows this squad is special. He had this to say before winning the divisional title,

It's the 2023 Lions and we're different than last year's team and the year before and 30 years before that. So, we're trying to make our mark this year and we have a chance to do it this week.

The Lions got it done and now; it remains to be seen how far can this team really go in the playoffs.
