Watch: NFC makes fourth-and-goal stop to top AFC in Pro Bowl Games

The NFC stonewalled the AFC on fourth-and-goal with seconds to go in the fourth quarter, holding on for a 64-59 victory in the 2024 Pro Bowl Games.

A surprisingly competitive event came down to one play. With the AFC facing a goal-to-go situation from the 5-yard line, trailing by a score, a pass from Houston Texans' QB C.J. Stroud evaded the outstretched hands of Los Angeles Chargers wideout Keenan Allen, preserving the NFC's second consecutive win in the annual showcase.

Pass is incomplete and the NFC is going to get the Pro Bowl win!

The NFC's victory came primarily due to its dominance in the skills competition portion of the games.

After the AFC won the "Kick-Tac-Toe," the NFC swept the rest of the skills games, including the "Gridiron Gauntlet," "Move the Chains" and "Tug of War" to set up the crucial fourth-down stop.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield continues to have arguably the best year of his career. After winning the precision passing skills challenge on Saturday, Mayfield earned Pro Bowl Offensive MVP honors on Sunday.

Meanwhile, New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis received the Pro Bowl Defensive MVP award.

This year's event also had more NFL fans show up than one might think. Officially, the attendance at Camping World Stadium was 55,709.
