Watch: Older brother gives young Bills fan opportunity to meet star QB Josh Allen

Oftentimes, jaded sports fans will say that "it's just a game." They'll point out that we shouldn't be letting our kids make their favorite athletes their heroes, and that at the end of the day, none of it really matters.

After all, it's just a game.

Tell that to the young Buffalo Bills fan who met quarterback Josh Allen on the way to training camp, though. Jennifer Lewke of News 10 NBC caught the moment and posted it for everyone to see in all its glory on Twitter (er, X).

The beautiful thing about it, though, was that it wasn't just the moment of a young fan meeting the MVP-candidate quarterback. Captured in the video is the moment an older brother gave away his opportunity to potentially get an autograph from Allen, and he instead asked for the quarterback to go meet his younger sister.

What happened next should remind us all that it's not "just a game." In fact, it's more than a game, because the players underneath the helmet and shoulder pads do have the opportunity to make a difference for the younger generation.

Kudos to Allen for going over to give his newest superfan a hug, but even bigger kudos go out to her brother — for orchestrating this beautiful sports moment.
