Rashan Gary is averaging a sack a game heading into the Green Bay Packers Week 4 game against the New England Patriots. He continued that streak against the Patriots. In the middle of the first quarter, the sack monster blew by the right side of the Patriots’ offensive line. Quarterback Brian Hoyer didn’t have a chance to get away from Gary’s attack.

Hoyer was injured after the play. He was taken to the locker room. The Patriots then had to turn to their 2022 4th-round pick Bailey Zappe to play in Hoyer’s place.

Hoyer was starting against the Packers after Mac Jones was injured last week. This season, he might not be the last quarterback Gary puts in the locker room. Gary is on a major mean streak right now. The Packers’ defense is leading the league in pressures this season. And it’s pretty effective in games.
