Watch: Packers' Rashan Gary has hilarious response to emotional locker room moment after upset win over Lions

A year ago, Green Bay Packers linebacker Rashan Gary saw his season end after suffering a devastating ACL injury in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions.

On Thanksgiving Day, Gary returned to the scene of the crime and made an impact worthy of a game ball and an emotional, heartfelt speech from head coach Matt LaFleur. However, Gary had a hilarious response to all the love coming his way. Holding back tears, Gary threw his hands in the air before letting the entire team know how sick he was of crying in front of them.

LaFleur said that Gary returned with a "vengeance," and no other word could more accurately describe the former first-round pick's day against the favored Lions. Gary tallied all three of the Packers' sacks on Thursday and forced two of three fumbles lost by Lions QB Jared Goff, including one returned for a touchdown by safety Jonathan Owens. According to Next Gen Stats, Gary averaged 3.51 yards of separation from Goff, well above the league average (4.53 yards).

Gary's big day helped the Packers walk out of Ford Field with an impressive 29-22 victory. Through 11 games, Gary leads the Packers with eight-and-a-half sacks, only one away from equaling his career high set in 2021.
