Watch: Packers' Doubs scores first-career TD

The Green Bay Packers got off to a hot start in Week 3. Romeo Doubs  caught a touchdown from Aaron Rodgers with 3:01 left in the first quarter to put the Packers on top of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-3. The touchdown was the first receiving touchdown of the Packers rookie’s NFL career.

Doubs was asked to step up this week as the Packers are without leading wide receiver Sammy Watkins. And boy did the Packers rookie deliver, Sunday. The Packers drafted Doubs in the fourth round of this year’s draft. He had six catches for 64 yards in his first two games for the Packers.

The Packers would go on to dominate the rest of the first half against the short-handed Buccaneers. Rodgers would find wide receiver Allen Lazard to put the Packers up 14-3. Rodgers has the passing game going so far in Week 3. He has 171 yards passing. He’s found Doubs twice in the first half. The Packers rookie had 4 catches for 44 yards at halftime.
