Watch: Pat McAfee Calls Out Top ESPN Executive For ‘Sabotaging’ His Show in Wild Rant
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Pat McAfee doesn’t appear to be too happy with ESPN.

The former All-Pro Punter of the Indianapolis Colts created quite the stir on Friday afternoon, as the outspoken host of the self-named ‘Pat McAfee Show’ claimed that his program is being ‘sabotaged’ by a top ranking executive at ESPN.

Watch McAfee call-out Norby Williamson, who’s currently ESPN’s Executive Vice President of Studio and Event Production:

“We’re very appreciative and we understand that more people are watching this show than ever before, we’re very thankful for the ESPN folks for being very hospitable…now there are people actively trying to sabotage us from inside ESPN. More specifically, Norby Williamson, is the guy who is attempting to sabotage our program.

I’m not 100 percent sure, but that’s seemingly the only human that has information and that information gets leaked and it’s wrong…and then it sets a narrative of what our show is, and are we just going to combat that from a rat every single time? I don’t know, but like someone tried to get ahead of our actual ratings release with wrong numbers, 12 hours beforehand…that’s a sabotage attempt, and it’s been happening basically this entire season from some people who didn’t necessarily love the addition of the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ to the ESPN family…there’s a lot of those.”

Pat McAfee’s Rise to Superstardom

Following a Hall of Fame worthy eight-year career in the NFL, the former All-Pro Punter left the NFL for Barstool Sports in 2016. After departing the internet giant, McAfee moved his show over to SiriusXM while simulcasting his program on YouTube. The former Indianapolis Colts legend would then announce his show would simulcast on ESPN, which came with a cool eight figure deal, while seeing himself become a staple of the network’s long running ‘College Football Gameday’ program every Saturday morning through the College Football season.
