Watch: Patrick Mahomes dives into end zone for first playoff TD
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

After seeing the Indianapolis Colts claw back into the game with a special teams touchdown, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes quickly answered to take momentum and a 17-point lead back.

Mahomes led a 10-play, 75-yard drive rather quickly, and after his rocket arm did most of the work, the star quarterback used his legs this time. After seeing nothing open in the end zone, Mahomes rolled out of the pocket, used a pump fake to make a defender hesitate then dove into the end zone to give Kansas City a three-score lead.

In just his first playoff start, the 23-year-old looks like a 10-year veteran against a good defense. He has thrown for 195 passing yards and now has his first career postseason touchdown to go along with it in an excellent first half.
